Ring Patrol

Ride the A, B and C rings. ↑ ↓ to change rings, Space to throw the lasso. Rope rustlers, dodge the ice, grab ring-dollars. Gamma Spurs make you untouchable for a spell; a Tin Star gives back a hat. It gets faster the longer you ride.

A frontier saloon carved inside an ice moon: riveted swinging doors open onto Saturn, a robot bartender with a handlebar moustache polishes a glass behind a brass bar, prospectors and robots drink in the back, a piano glows with bubble lamps, and a sheriff's hat with a tin star rests on a card table beside a floor window showing Saturn's rings.

The Cassini Gap

The only saloon between Mimas and Titan, cut into an ice moonlet that drifts in the dark lane between the A and B rings. Every episode ends here: a sarsaparilla, a hand of cards, and Flash explaining why a pile of gears doesn't need rights.

He's been explaining it less often lately. The writers say there's a reason. The writers say a lot of things these days, mostly in the margins.
